ABOUT ADRIAN LIM
My Real Estate Journey:
I started my real estate’s business when I was 30. I still remember I would take 2 to 3 hours everyday after my full time work ( Accountant’s job) on week days and 4 to 5 hours on weekend to do door knocking in those about to MOP HDB flats to see if someone likes to sell their flat. I took a lot of pride asking residence if they need any assistance or not. Although, most of them would coldly refuse to this new rookie. Little did I know, my earlier days doing cold cavassing were my first steps on the road of Top Achiever. I have no referral, no skillset, no experience . Sure, the journey had lots of ups and downs but was worth every effort. Unaware that I was embarking myself on a yet another exciting adventure - the journey from an Achiever to a leader.
My life changing shift:
In Aug 2015, my BIGGEST decision in my real estate life, I decided to joined Powerful Negotiators Group. It was a tough journey from changing a comfortable size of 86 strong sales force to only bringing 3 buddies to restart my new journey. A number of instances that left a mark on me during this journey and taught me about how to overcome hard times.
My style of mentoring:
As a leader, I feel that it’s my duty to help my team members unlock their potential. Every single member of my team is provided with the necessary training, guidance, and leadership materials to ensure that they can always find a practical application for everything that they’ve learned. Undoubtedly, a lot of changes have taken place since our team was first created, but the excellent quality of work, open-mindedness, and the grit and determination which characterize ALD, and that I witnessed on my very first day, remains. I see ALD Propnex as a uniquely dynamic place, where people who possess those qualities of grit, determination, and the drive to succeed can achieve their goals. Whether in the form of promotion, a raise, taking on new projects or developing new skills – there is an abundance of opportunities at Propnex to become the best possible version of yourself.
Adrian is one of the most prominent senior group district director of Propnex, leading close to 200 real estate agents in AdrianLimDivision(ALD). As one of the panels of senior leaders in Propnex, he believes that it is his calling to nuture the next batch of new leaders in Propnex. He frequently organises revoluntionary coaching programs to improve agents competitiveness in the fast changing real estate market

Like a marathon, life can sometimes be difficult, challenging and present obstacles. However if you believe in your dreams and never give up, things will turn out for the best.

I am proud to say I live by this quote, literally. As an avid marathon runner myself, I am 'trained' to persevere through the burns and fatigue that plague all runners. I also adhere to a strict diet and excercise plan before every marathon. I gained important key lessons from participating in marathons.
01. Goal Setting
Everyday is a marathon and as every good runner do, I prepare for every marathon. The night before you sleep, set clear and concise goals for yourselves. Something as simple as " I will get started on my Facebook Ad Campaign tonight" will make alot of difference in how you spend your time the next day. The moment you wake up, its a race and races are driven by goals.
02. Overcoming Obstacles
Learning how to overcome obstacles is important, however learning when to make the effort to overcome obstacles is key. Not all obstacles are worth overcoming. Whether to persist on a difficult case or to invest your time on other things that matters requires good judgement. Being patient is not a virtue but knowing when to be patient is. All these are skills that was awoken in me as a marathon competitor and honed through years of experience.
